Last night, at a meeting of Executive Women International, I heard a great success story.  One of our members was let go from her position on November 30th after a 28 year career as an executive secretary to its leader.  About a month ago, this same executive secretary had bought a copy of my book not even realizing she might need it one day soon.  Well, at our meeting last night, she announced that she is starting a new job on Monday with a large insurance company as an executive secretary to one of their leaders.  How did that happen?  Everyone is saying there are not jobs!  Well, she picked up the book she had bought, she applied the principles, and she landed a job.  She understood who she was, what she wanted, she tapped into her network, and it all started to fall into place.  Nice story, huh?
