I recently listened to a presentation by an executive coach who has developed a list that job seekers at all levels will find quite helpful. This list contains every question a job seeker can expect to be asked during an interview. Yes, I said “every” question. You may think, “there are WAY more than 11 possible interview questions,” right? I did too. So, I spent some time trying to come up with #12 with no luck. See how you do.
#1 Tell me about yourself
#2 What are your strengths?
#3 What are your weaknesses?
#4 What are your long-term goals/ambitions?
#5 What is your leadership style?
#6 Why did you leave your company? (or why do you want to leave your company?)
#7 How much do you earn?
#8 What are you most proud of in your career? (greatest accomplishment)
#9 What was your biggest failure?
#10 Don’t you think you are over-qualified for this job?
#11 Why do you want to come to work for us?
Any luck coming up with #12? I’d like to hear from you.
